This short course came at the perfect time for me. I struggle with confidence out on the trail and after just the first “lesson” I was able to take my horse out of the ring and ride around the paddocks yesterday without having my stomach in my throat! I have a ways to go and look forward to continuing on with this course, but Julie gives me the tools that I need to be the confident rider and leader my horse needs — in all aspects of my horsemanship! Previously when I’ve taken my horse out of the arena it doesn’t go so well due to that annoying voice in my head, but now I’m learning how to combat that voice and turn it into a positive voice – thus a great ride on my pony doing what I’ve wanted to do for so long now! I highly recommend this short course to anyone that needs to work on their confidence or just needs a really good refresher. I think this would be a win-win for both horse and rider! Elizabeth O.
