I searched high and low on Amazon for a pannier set that hangs over a bicycle rack. I prefer this design because the plastic clip on types or hang on one side types tend to break or pop off and often can’t hold as much weight. This pannier set also includes a durable liner that keeps the shape of each bag. The installation is simple but don’t expect to be taking them on an off all the time. I’d recommend this for someone that doesn’t intend to take it on and off everywhere they go. The build quality is very nice. I’ve been able to carry upwards of fifty pounds of beer and other things no problem. They don’t flip around or interfere with the spokes at all with load or empty. I have a more traditional rear rack with a newspaper hinge and only one down tube. It’s not a three bar pannier type rack. The bags aren’t flimsy because of the inset.
